Internet is full of fakes everywhere. Prolly 25-50% of posts on Poal are not accurate, no sources, edited/forged screenshots, sloppy etc. (some people are great with sources though and even archive them).

It it good preparation for the future to be highly critical of material that could be forged. A lot of people are going to get influenced once deep fakes are used more (unless they already are and I'm tricked already).

The screenshot can be completely legit, but it could also be totally fake.

sure but these days the entire conversation we are having could be fake. We could both be bots having a nice little chat. I don't particularly put much faith/credit in any posts like this, but use them for the sake of argument/discussion.

I have trouble not being convinced that AI has already taken over the majority of the known-unknown behind the scenes stuff and we're all sort of now getting to the point of acceptance. If they told us AI was in charge 10 years ago, we'd flip shit and the chances of revolution would be pretty high. Wait until people are comfortable with 'Alexa' and the like, everyone has a damned battery-powered tracking computer with them 24x7, and introduce 'basic' AI. Military tech has allegedly been a decade beyond what public/retail has, so what does that mean for AI?
