As and aside these are actually a prime example of unintended consequences. This channel and a few others showing towing and rescue are now very popular.
So people are having to be told that regular tow ropes and tow straps do not work that way and will break if you try it.
I’ve seen frames bent, suspension bolts broken, bumpers torn off… would be better if the used a zebra pattern cover on those ropes that was incredibly obvious it was something special.
See you're trying to use logic. If the people watching can't be bothered to ask or look up this info then they won't care about the color of the rope.
I've seen people explaining this on the reviews of Husky tow straps during sales. Explaining that will tear your bumper off or worse.
And yes I used the sale to buy a Husky Tow strap and d-shackle for emergencies.
The guy's tow company in the video has their own sponsored color Yankum Rope. The yellow ones are his and can only be ordered through his referral link giving him a small percentage of the sale. Some of the other channels even ordered one of his as a thank you because no one knew about them until his YouTube channel showed them off.
