I actually used to do composite manufacturing myself. It's a beautiful, if arduous process and yields fantastic results. A well-laminated piece of carbon fiber has a texture and relative temperature of granite. It is cold and smooth, but it is also as light as a feather. Holding your composite creations truly is a surreal experience the first time.
