I figure that a resin based printer would be best for something like miniatures. Detail/accuracy seems like it would be a lot better than most other types.

You can do good minis with fdm now without the hassle of donning a Hazmat suit.

The problem or for me with printing minis is getting good modellers or ones that are supported the best. The amount of time I've spent getting the supports right to not ruin detail is not worth not paying for the model.

Only a few which I've had to actually split the model up have come out good and saved me $70-$150
