so why do we need this? We have craft that do this already. Unless you are making 1.4mach drone bombs.... but we already have bombs that can fly at somethign like mach 10 china is working on the super super duper sonic thing. So lets 3d print some shit that will melt at high speeds.... Sounds like another grift....to get kids onboard with Nasa. .... Sure we went to the moon goys.

yeah, this is a experimental craft mostly to make a "quiet" supersonic and try to eliminate the "boom". There are other reasons but that is the primary "public" reason.

Also, this is for a scale model. If you want to print one. For fun. Ya' know?

This, yeah, I like this. Though. there is a point that I wonder if I could build one of these that is the size of a small SUV that clearly could not hit those speeds but could probably be "scary".
