Just get an Arduino, some stepper motors and drivers and write a small program to randomly rotate the steppers at different speeds and directions. No need to make plastic waste just for the sounds.
Probably PLA, it's cheap and biodegradable. Sometimes I make stuff out of PLA even that I am using outside just for that reason, I don't need my plastic shit polluting the world for 2 centuries.
