I have been intending to start uploading some time-lapse videos of prints and the things I have printed.
This is the first one I guess. I did have to print a extra since I didn't have my settings right for the time-lapse to be saved, I might change the settings in the future to go off z-axis rather than just a X-seconds setting to get a more interesting video.
Here is what I printed: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1595429
The printing material is HatchBox black PLA.
The printer is a Monoprice MakerSelect v2 that I have heavily modified (hardware, firmware, etc).
I am using OctoPrint to drive and monitor the printer.
Total print time was around 25-ish minutes with the slicer set to auto.
I used the settings suggested in the post. It works really well.
My intent for these is to place several around the house for various things. One example is to connect to a UPS then a Nuts server (network ups server) to manage shutting down various computers, vm's etc... in the event of power loss.
If anyone is interested I can post about that on another day.
Oh, and if anyone want's one of these, DM me. I am happy to print one or two and send them to you if you are ok with sending me an address.
