From the post:

>Air raid sirens have an important job to do, and have been a critical piece of public safety infrastructure in times of geopolitical turmoil. They sound quite unlike anything else, by virtue of their mechanical method of generating an extremely loud sound output. They’re actually remarkably simple to build yourself, as [MarkMakies] demonstrates.

Almost all of components can be gotten on mouser.com for fairly cheap.

Here is an alternative, you still need some parts but you can print most of it easily. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6772685

I have been planning to print some but have not gotten around to it. They remind me of those tiny little cap-gun keychain things you could get back in the 90's or early 2000's. I had a couple and they were fun.

[edit] These are a good idea to when you run out of filament. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6124845

Those spool drawers are neat, I've considered making those before. I'll check out that mouser site.

If you need any help on components let me know (DM). I have been ordering from a few sites like that for over a decade and can probably help.
