So it only happens with large objects that are close to the left side of the build plate. The top layer is AFU. The only thing I can think of is that is where the fan is, on the left side. But this print is only about a half inch tall, so the fan is never blowing directly on the print because the build plate is still well above the level of the fan. It is 10x6 in size but only a half inch tall. The rest of the top came out fine but the left edge is trash. Happened with multiple filaments. I even tried drying the filaments to see if that was it but no luck.

Any ideas?

What printer? Have you checked the bed level.

My creatlity does something similar along the right edge. I print away from that edge. I know exactly why my creatlity does it.

No idea why yours is doing it. My creality does it because the head moves slightly in height at that far side of the bed due to the brackets being trimmed to accommodate the sprite head that didint come on my ender 3.

You can see the error is starting about an inch (after that last split in the part) before the silver item you are using for highlighting. See the lines on that section that do not exist in the other section of the print?

It almost looks like the print head jumps up and down along that edge of the print.

I had the printer set to auto level before the print so I don't think that is it. But yes, maybe some other calibration issue. I will run the calibration routine and try it again. Thank you.

Bambu's auto calibration might be a trap. By chance I came across this video a couple of days ago. Might be worth watching.

Edit forgot link, duh. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1iOH7GTwU0A

Bambu printer?

It should perform the auto calibration well. Ive had zero problems out of my bambu yet except the stupid fucking online garbage they push.

Yes, P1S. I ran a calibration on it before I left. I am going to see if that helped.

What kind of online stuff? I don't know what I did in my account but I have Bambu lab and Bambu studio and I don't get any stuff pushed at me.
