I found a nice yarn holder on MakerWorld to print for her but I just could not get it to print for some reason, it had real weird slicer settings and it just kept failing. I tried his updated design but it had a crazy weird infill pattern and it was going to take 7 1/2 hours just to print the base.
So I CAD designed a new one that looks pretty much just like his but made some improvements. I put a little pocket on top of the rod for a flat round magnet and then put another flat round magnet reversed in the pipe of the top part so the thing levitates about an 1/8th inch, even with the ball of yarn on it. It really spins great and she loves it.
