They're awesomely weird - keep making them, and they'll learn to look at things differently and not cave in to conventional thoughts so readily. Wish I could remember the name of it - think someone posted a link here last week or so...

There's a shape - like a rounded trigonal pyramid, that is equal height regardless of the surface you measure from. Shape looks f'ed, but it can serve as a rolling bearing between planar surfaces. You need to make some of those!

Nice! You might want to look into sphericons and oloids.

There is another type of solid that rolls down hill in a specific path but I can't remember the name at the moment. Edit: Found it, they're called trajectoids. https://www.nature.com/articles/s41586-023-06306-y
