I tried to make it really nice by ironing the top surface and it came out really smooth except under where the words are. Not sure what happened there.
I think that when I get used to reading it I wont need the wording anymore and I will reprint it to see if I can get a smoother face.
Overall I think it's pretty cool though.

So the spiral moves around as the hour hand. Whatever is being covered is the hour and the minute hand is as normal.
So in the pic it is 10:40. At Eleven the word eleven will be covered completely.

It's actually surprisingly easy to read it after just a little bit. Since the minutes are not marked you aren't 100 % accurate but I am usually within a minute of being right.

Make sure you iron the top layers to get rid of the printer lines. It just comes out smoother and nicer that way.
