Nice! I recently ordered 10 PCB, dual sided, and paid about $20 total shipped. Used to do a lot of toner transfer PCBs but it's hard to resist cheap pro-made ones that cheap. They actually sent me 11 PCBs and I should just sell some of them to others. Anyone needs a PCB for a rose engine lathe using stepper motors?

The way PCB services are today, you'd be crazy not to use them.

The last one I layed out, etched and drilled myself was a single layer one for a production machine at work. Used Platine ST on an ATARI and Iron(III)-Chloride, which was discarded safely into some drain. Must have been early 90s. When I look at that layout today, I blush from emabarassment :). Also these little boards are still in use daily, so there's that.

The video makes a good case for when it makes sense to use this technology and when it doesn't. Sometimes people do stuff just because they can. Good opportunity to learn and maybe improve this stuff.
