Shot my first M-16 in the army. We always shot semi-auto. I selected full auto for fun one time, magazine emptied before I could blink an eye. Not fun. Drill sergeant raged up and down the line demanding who shot full auto. I kept my mouth shut, honesty and confessing never goes well with a US Army drill Sergeant. Best let the entire platoon suffer for your mistake, than bear the burden yourself.
