Since installing I'm seeing almost zero strings and I've been able to bump the nozzle temp up from 200 to 215 without any issues. I'll keep testing higher temps on new prints but she's looking good. I did file down a good bit of material from the base to get it away from the hot end, which opened up some more room for airflow.

Designed and put to use my first design today. Basic and simple. A knob for a power washer. Still struggling with freecad but we'll see.

FWIW, Autodesk Inventor offers a free student version which does everything the full version does except it watermarks printed drawings. Lots of great tutorials and easy conversion to .stl files for printing. No need to struggle with freecad.

I'll see what I can do on the education angle. Thanks for the tip. For that, I give you a fresh meme.
