To understand Orwell's intentions in detail, one needs to know the key he hid in his biography.

He emphasized that he had a rooster named Henry Ford and a poodle he called Marx.

Henry Ford has published The International Jew: The World's Problem (magtudin.org) and the jew Karol Marx wrote the Manifesto of the Communist Party (en.wikipedia.org)

Does that mean he considered ford to be calling the alarm to wake people up, and Marx is a dog?

Or does it mean that they're both pets of the hidden party, set in opposition to one another to keep the game going on the track intended?
